A Grand Finale to the Grand Ramayana Recital Abhiyaanam - 2023
As a tribute to the inauguration of Srirama mandiram at Ayodhya, Samskrita Bharati envisaged the Grand recital of complete Srimad Valmiki Ramayana across Bangalore. Starting with the recital of Balakandam at Vijayanagar on 5th November, various parts of Ramayana were recited in different parts of Bangalore culminating in the grand finale - recital of Yuddhakandam (60-128 sargas) at Basavanagudi on 24th and 25th December at Satyapramoda Kalyana Mantapa. The 2-day recital concluded with a function, presided over by Shri Tejaswi Surya, MP, South Bangalore as Chief Guest, graced by Shri Nityasthananda ji Maharaj, Adhyaksha of Ramakrishna Math, Special Guest Shri Vidyadheeshacharya Guttal of Shrimaduttaraadimutt and key note speaker, Shri TN Prabhakar of Samskrita Bharati. It was followed by an equally vibrant procession showcasing the greatness of Ramayana, Rama and Samskrit.
